The theatrical world is diverse and exciting, from Ballet and West End shows through to Opera.  We have a very strong theatre industry in the UK with many world renowned stages including The Royal Opera House, English National Opera and Glyndebourne Opera House.

It is a very creative industry with many productions involving period hair and make-up or more advante-garde styling and many shows go on tour throughout the UK and abroad so there’s opportunity to travel.

You can also get involved in your local amateur dramatics, pantomime and theatre productions.

Depending on the size of production, quite often you will be expected to provide both hair and makeup.
